WEDDING FLORAL DESIGN
Using flowers to make your wedding day perfect
Reflect the love, excitement and happiness of your wedding day with the most beautiful flowers and floral designs you’ve ever seen.
Flowers add life, colour and perfume to a wedding. They transform the ambiance of a venue and add personalised meaning like little else can, especially in the form of the bouquet you hold.
At Foxgloves & Roses, I help shape and realise your unique vision of the perfect flowers for your special day. From start to finish I’ll work alongside you to ensure the floral arrangements you select echo who you are as a couple.
From bouquets, floral crowns, buttonholes and arrangements for ceremony and reception venues, to dramatic design like hanging globes, flowering hedges, chandeliers and arches; no floral arrangement is too big to achieve.
Foxgloves and Roses’s floral work looks effortlessly beautiful with a style that is joyous and natural. I am equally expert at pale and muted colour palettes or bolder blends and use only the loveliest seasonal flowers. Scented if possible.
Over the years I’ve designed bespoke floral arrangements for weddings in churches, marquees, palaces, boutique hotels, halls, mansion houses, barns and Oxford colleges. Foxgloves and Roses is a recommended supplier to Blenheim Palace, Ardington House and Sudbury House Hotel.
Whatever the venue and however large the guest list, Foxgloves and Roses is the professional choice for couples seeking a stress-free experience and the most delightful floral wedding designs.
Here’s how I bring your vision to life:
We will arrange a meeting to discuss your wedding plans and the floral designs you’d like to see created. The meeting will preferably take place face-to-face but phone calls, Skype chats or an email correspondence are alternative options.
During the meeting you’ll tell me about your floral vision, the intended wedding themes, your budget and the venues. I’ll then share some initial tips and ideas, which we’ll discuss together.
For a more fulfilling meeting, I advise you to bring along some ideas of your own. These might be in the form of magazine tear outs, colour swatches and photos of flowers, decor and floral arrangements that match your tastes and desires. Anything to give me a better idea of your dream wedding look.
If you’re completely at a loss for inspiration, then don’t worry! I’ll show you some wonderfully inspiring ideas from previous projects and then guide you from there.
A short time after our meeting I will share with you a Pinterest ‘moodboard’ containing ideas for flowers, colours, arrangements and related decorative accessories for your wedding. This gives you a chance to provide feedback and for us both to make changes to the overall floral design scheme.
Once you’re happy with the general floral theme for your wedding I’ll create a quotation with design ideas and costs. This will include flower names and detailed descriptions about each arrangement.
This can be modified until you are completely happy.
Once the quotation has been agreed upon, you then pay a 10% non-refundable deposit.
A month before your wedding day I will confirm everything is to go ahead as planned. You can still make some changes and additions to the flower plans during this period.
Once we’ve finalised any changes and you’ve confirmed everything is on track, you’ll be required to pay the final invoice.
The flowers and accessories are sourced from my trusted suppliers. As soon as they are delivered to my florist studio, we get busy on unpacking, conditioning, arranging and preparing all the flowers for your special day.
Finally I, and my assistants, deliver your bouquets and bring everything to your wedding venues to setup well before the ceremony begins. Depending on circumstances, we can stay to remove arrangements straight after the ceremony or alternatively, return the day after.
